
I admit it, I have love handles and I don’t particularly love them. It’s like a curse. So I asked myself “How can I easily lose my love handles?” and did some research online. What are the fitness experts saying? I did plenty of mistakes when exercising so here are the BEST ways I found. Don’t waste your time. Get the right exercise tips to lose your love handles.
1. Strengthen your lower back
As you will see below, strengthening your abdominal muscles is a key step in reducing your love handles. But whenever you work on your abs, you should also strengthen the muscles in your lower back to “balance” the strength in your torso and reduce the fat on your back.
Try this exercise: Lie on your stomach, lift your feet and knees off the floor and “flutter kick” your legs as if you were swimming. Do this for 15 seconds, then stop for 30 seconds. Repeat twice. http://www.askmen.com/sports/fitness_top_ten/35_fitness_list.html
2. Create a “V” shape in your upper body
Although working on your abs is a must in the quest to eliminate love handles, you can also create the illusion of having a smaller midsection by bulking up your shoulders, pectoral muscles and biceps.
There is a wide range of exercises you can perform for these different muscle groups, one of which is the lat pulldown. Sitting with your back flat against the seat, grasp the bar with your hands shoulder-width apart. Pull the bar down to your chest, pause, and extend arms back to starting position. Repeat 12 to 15 times.
3. Do Leg raises.
I am doing some leg raises that help. Lay on your side, start with your right side lift your leg up hold for a secound and bring leg down. Repeat 15 times each side do 2 or 3 sets along with other exercises it should help
4. Reduce your overall body fat level
The only way to reduce love handles is to reduce your overall body fat level. Unfortunately many people have certain limited areas where fat tends to deposit first and go away last. There is nothing you can do about this. It is controlled by genetics and may change with age. You may be able to make it look beter by developing the underlying muscles. A good all round weight training program coupled with a reasonable diet is the best plan.
